Good morning

April ends today

Today the last of the music videos for “Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku”, which have been broadcast on YouTube starting 4/1, was uploaded too

To the staff who uploaded the videos each and every day,
and then everyone who checked them out up to now, thank you so very much

Everyone who says “I still haven’t watched them“,
please be sure to definitely check them out too

And then, yesterday was the “Gatas” talk event,
“Gatas Supporter Meeting”

This September Gatas’ history will be a full 10 years

I learned there were various episodes during our break in Gatas participation

I listened to the captain Yoshizawa Hitomi-san’s stories,

and I thought “How cool~

I’ve rarely had the opportunity to participate in an event like this with the Gatas members,

so I was able to hear various stories, make a lot of discoveries, and laugh a lot

Everyone who came to the venue,
and everyone who supported us,

Thank you very much

Please continue to support Gatas

Alright
And then, today is the ℃-ute concert in Nagoya

Everyone in Nagoya
Are you ready to get excited together

I think there’s also people who can’t come,

but Team ℃-ute’s feelings are one

Today will be a perfect explosion
I’m o~ff(^-^)ノ

Blog update: “Nico Dou event(^_^)/”

Here’s the translation for Maimi’s 4/29 blog update, titled “Nico Dou event(^_^)/“:

Good morning
It’s Maimi

Yesterday we participated in the Nico Nico Douga events at Makuhari Messe,

“Nico Nico Chou Kaigi”,
“Nico Raji”,
and “Nico Nico Chou Party”

Ah~ Makuhari Messe was huge
It was overflowing with people(゜ロ゜)

I’m really greatful that we were able to sing and dance there

People who didn’t know about ℃-ute up until now learned about ℃-ute,

and there were also people at yesterday’s event who said “I was able to meet ℃-ute for the first time today

We appeared with Up Up Girls and S/mileage at “Nico Nico Chou Kaigi”,

and it was really fun getting excited with everyone there

By the way, the set list was

1. Tokaikko Junjou
2. Bye Bye Bye!

3. Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku
4. Dance de Bakoon!

5. Iza, Susume! Steady go!

Like that

And then, we talked on the live radio program “Nico Raji” while everyone’s comments streamed

Several hundred thousand people watched the program,

and the instant we asked “Do you know ℃-ute~?”,

there were comments that said “I know you now!”,

so I was really happy(*^^*)

And then, lastly was “Nico Nico Chou Party”…

It was held at the incredibly large venue Makuhari Messe,

and the guest seating was packed

Being able to sing ℃-ute’s songs in a venue like that was really like a dream

We sang

“Maasara Blue Jeans”

We also sang “Kiss me Aishiteru” while dancing two groups of 5 people who we recruited before hand

A performance with 15 people…
Being able to perform with all those people who support ℃-ute became a nice memory

Everyone who came to the venue,
everyone who watched the broadcast,
everyone who cheered for us,

thank you so very much

Now, there is a “Gatas Supporter Meeting” event for the futsal team “Gatas” today

I’ll have fun and do my best

Have a wonderful holiday everyone~

Here’s the translation for Maimi’s 4/28 blog update, titled “℃-ute is off p(^-^)q“:

Good morning

Yesterday I filmed for Hagi-chan’s USTREAM program “Hagiwara Mai desu ga… Nani ka??”

A lot of people will participate in this event it seems,

so I think there will definitely be a lot of people who don’t know about ℃-ute

It’s a chance to make them interested

Maimi Sightings for 4/27

Fellow ℃-ute member Okai Chisato uploaded this 2-shot with Maimi in her update on the official ℃-ute blog.

And fellow ℃-ute member Hagiwara Mai shared this 2-shot with Maimi in her update on the official ℃-ute blog, along with the news that Maimi would be appearing on an upcoming episode of her USTREAM show, “Hagiwara Mai desu ga… Nani ka??” Though Mai said she couldn’t give us details on what they did during the filming, she did give the teaser that Maimi cried.

Check out blog!project for full translations of the other ℃-ute and Hello! Project members’ blog updates.

Blog update: “Sense of accomplishment(;_;)”

Here’s the translation for Maimi’s 4/27 blog update, titled “Sense of accomplishment(;_;)“:

Good afternoon
It’s Maimi

Yesterday, I appeared on the USTREAM program
“Hagiwara Mai desu ga… Nani ka??” on the spur of the moment

Airi became able to work after 10:00PM since she turned 18-years-old,

and “Hagiwara Mai desu ga… Nani ka??” was her first live appearance after 10:00PM

I thought I’d pop my head in┃ ┃v・)っ
to where they were filming,
and then even Yaji appeared on the live broadcast

We received a call from Hagi-chan during the program, and we talked live on the air

It was really fun

…By the way, I want the Hagi-o and Hagi-ko (Hagi-chan’s characters) t-shirt that Hagi-chan made on the program(>∀<)/

And then, thank you for all the comments

Yesterday
the last episode of my bicycle trip from Tokyo to Shizuoka to pray for the success of “Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku” was broadcast on “HaroPuro! TIME”

There were difficult things during this trip, but it wasn’t just difficult

By nature, I love to go for walks and to look at scenery, so I received a lot of soothing from the various scenery I saw(´∀`)

The reflection of the setting sun sparkling on the river
I saw elementary school-aged children playing baseball on the side of that river, and it made me nostalgic for when I did the same(´ー`)

In addition, I interacted with various people

There were people who said things to me like “Hang in there” and “What an amazing bicycle~“, and people who gave me directions,

and in a soba restaraunt I went to for lunch on the second day, there was a store clerk who said “I know ℃-ute Please do your best(^^)d”,

and I was really happy that they knew about us

The trip was over the span of 3 days, so there were a lot of things that couldn’t fit into the broadcast

At any rate, I wouldn’t have been able to meet the people I did if I didn’t take this trip,

I wouldn’t have been able to seen the scenery I did if I didn’t take this trip,

and I’m glad I was able to take this trip~ I feel

Ah I’m also able to read a map now

And then, after travelling for 3 days on bicycle, I was finally able to reach my destination of Kunouzan Toushougu Shrine

I felt an amazing sense of accomplishment

Whether or not as a result of my prayers,
a lot of people listened to “Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku”, so I was really happy

I’m grateful to the staff of “HaroPuro TIME”

In addition, in order to film, the staff travelled the same distance with me…

When I thought “I’m not the only one having a difficult time“, I was able to do my best

It was also the first time for the program to have a segment air over 6 weeks, so thank you very much(;_;)

Everyone too, thank you for all of the support

Yaji surely became stronger(lol)

Alright Without losing to the rain today, I will go in high spirits

Blog update: “Final episode(/_;)/~~”

Here’s the translation for Maimi’s 4/26 blog update, titled “Final episode(/_;)/~~“:

Good afternoon
It’s Maimi

It’s cool out~(ノ´∀`)ノ

Today, while I was on the train headed to work, I was able to see some carp streamers

That’s right
It’s almost Children’s Day(^-^)!!

The wind was strong, so the carp streamers were swimming powerfully(^o^)/

And then, yesterday I went with Airi and Chisato
to study Tatekawa Shirano-san’s rakugo

Actually, on 5/15,
the 3 of us will attempt “Joshi Rakugo”

When I heard about rakugo when I was younger, it seemed really difficult,

but I remember naturally seeing the scene of the story in front of my eyes and having fun the first time I went and watched

Yesterday too, I was drawn into the story before I realized it

But, how you use various tones of voice,
how you change the speed in which you talk,
your facial expressions and your gestures…

Those things make the story easy to imagine,
and arouse the audience’s interest and make them wonder “What will happen next“…

I felt

When I think that, it seems really difficult to do…

“Will I be alright” I started to worry

But, if I’m going to do it, then I will do it with all my might

I’ll do my best~p(`・∀・´)q

And then, tonight at 1:00AM~
the TV Tokyo program “HaroPuro! TIME”
will broadcast,

and today’s episode feels like a ℃-ute festival

Finally, tonight is the last episode of Yajima Maimi’s bicycle trip from Tokyo to Shizuoka

to pray for the success of “Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku”,

which has aired for 5 straight weeks

I was told at handshake events and read in the blog comments that a lot of people are cheering for my trip, so I was really happy

And then, all the people who cheered for me in their heart too, thank you very much

Was I able to pray for the single’s success as hoped without any trouble…

I’ll be happy if you watch until the very end

Well, it looks like it’ll rain from here today

Don’t forget your umbrella~
Well then, until tomorrow’s update~

Blog update: “Yaji appeared!!( ゜o゜ノ)ノ”

Here’s the translation for Maimi’s 4/25 blog update, titled “Yaji appeared!!( ゜o゜ノ)ノ“:

Good morning
It’s Maimi

Thank you for the many comments of congratulations

There’s a lot of members of Team ℃-ute, so I’m happy…(T-T)

Everyone support gives me a lot of power

Wasn’t yesterday as hot as summer

In the radiant sunlight,
the flowers were vivid,

so it was really, really nice weather,

but I thought “Spring, don’t end~(>_<)"

Yaji is sensitive to extreme temperatures…
Spring and autumn are my favorite seasons…

In addition, this spring I haven’t had any symptoms of hayfever at all, so this is the best spring ever

Have I been cured of hayfever…(・o・)? No way… right(..)
I’ve never heard of anyone being cured of hayfever
At any rate, I survived this year~(;^o^)

Yesterday,
I went with my mom to karaoke~

I wonder how many years it’s been since I went to karaoke with my mom

As soon as we entered the store,
Yaji appeared on the screen in the lobby, so I was surprised
(゜o゜ノ)ノ

I was talking to Kyari Pamyu Pamyu-san on the DAM Channel

Afterwards, the ℃-ute members appeared in order of age,

and “Ah This is how the filming from that time looks now” I was able to confirm with my own eyes(^-^)v

And then, I also have some announcements today

Sequels to last year’s DVD movie in which I played the role of “Reira”,
“Black Angels”, have been decided

Releasing on 7/4
“Black Angels 2 ~Kuroki Kakusei Hen~”

Releasing on 8/3
“Black Angels 3 ~Kuroki Shitou Hen~”

It was filmed last winter

(1)
The picture makes me feel really nostalgic…

This time I used wires during an action scene for the first time,

so it was an amazing experience
I want to refine my action skills more and more…

And then, in the magazine coming out today,
“Hello! Channel vol.8”,

we went to the Honjo Disaster Prevention Center,
and we studied disasters

(2)

In addition, it’s the release date for “Dijimono Station”

(3)

I introduced my recommended books

Blog update: “Archery challenge”

Here’s the translation for Maimi’s 4/23 blog update, titled “Archery challenge“:

Good morning
It’s Maimi

It’s raining, huh…
Another week starts today

When I returned home yesterday,
my pet dogs greeted me like always

Recently their hair had become long, so they looked like bears…

Yesterday we took them to get trimmed

Though bears are cute,

my pet dogs became small when they got trimmed, so they were really cute when they returned home(^-^)

“Huh(・o・)
Cologne… You’re that small(^_^;)?” I thought…

They even put a cute ribbon on them…(*^^*) Isn’t that nice

Now, here are some announcements
Today is the release date of the magazines “JUNON” and “UTB”

All of ℃-ute appears in “JUNON” again this issue

And then in “UTB”,
Yajima challenges archery for the first time

I’ve worn the archery outfit before,

but it’s my first time to actually pull the bow
archery has a cool image, and I wanted to join when it was offered as a club activity~

It’s a sport I admire so much I felt that way, but when I tried it, it was harder than I thought~(^-^;

But it was a really fun photoshoot(^o^)/

In addition,
today on the ℃-ute channel on YouTube,

the (Dance Shot ver) of “Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku” is showing

Please be sure to check out both the magazines and the music video

Well then, let’s have a wonderful day today too~
Bye b~ye(^^)/

Maimi’s bicycle pilgrimage, Part 4

Here are the previous recaps for Maimi’s bicycle pilgrimage on “HaroPuro! TIME”:

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3

For the fourth week in a row, Maimi’s bicycle trip to Shizuoka’s Kunouzan Toshogu shrine to pray for the success of ℃-ute’s recently released single, “Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku” (You Ride Your Bicycle While I Catch the Train Home), was aired on “HaroPuro! TIME” (4/12). Maimi’s trip was the main focus of this episode, and it started off with Maimi getting sidelined when the chain slipped off her bike while she tried shifting gears. After a short while, Maimi managed to fix the chain herself, and asked everyone to remember that she’s a girl who can do anything if she tries. In high spirits because of her accomplishment, Maimi sang “Kimi wa Jitensha” to herself as she resumed her trip.

Further ahead, Maimi came across a road she wasn’t able to cross on her bike, so she had to pick it up and carry it up some steps and across a bridge. Upon reaching the other side and getting back on her bike, Maimi once again sung “Kimi wa Jitensha” as she rode alongside a train.

Now biking at night, Maimi said that it made her uneasy before breaking into a solo rendition of ℃-ute’s song “Midnight Temptation”. As she was stopped and waiting for the light, Maimi realized that the ocean was in front of her, though she couldn’t see it because it was pitch black. Though she was unable to see it, she said that it still made her excited.

Tweleve hours after starting her trip, Maimi stopped at a convenience store to ask for directions to an inn. She arrived just in time to get a room, and after getting ready for bed, Maimi said she was surprised at herself for travelling over 80km in one day. Maimi then ended the first day of her trip by bidding good night to everyone watching.

With the first day in the books, the announcer recapped the trip so far. In the first day Maimi travelled for about 12 hours and logged around 80km. From Enoshima, around 140km remained between Maimi and her ultimate goal of Shizuoka.

Maimi was rejoined on the morning of day two as she sat down for breakfast at the inn. After finishing and showing off her completely empty plates for everyone, Maimi set Atami (around 60km from Enoshima) as her goal for the day. Before heading out, Maimi gave the innkeeper a signed copy of ℃-ute’s album “Utsukushikutte Gomen Ne”.

As Maimi set off for Atami, she saw the Enoshima Sea Candle lighthouse and remembered the time she went there with Nakajima Saki and Okai Chisato for a previous episode of “HaroPuro! TIME” (which aired 11/24/2011). Further along, Maimi’s saw the number 134 line, and started singing her duet with Suzuki Airi, “Image Color”, to herself.

After around 2 hours and 30 minutes, Maimi arrived in Odawara and stopped to eat before heading off to a bicycle racing track. She asked if she could try running up the steep side of the track, and was given the go-ahead. Maimi then rode a few laps around the bottom of track while expressing her amazement at how fast the cyclists at the top of the track were going.

Forging ahead up some hills, Maimi arrived at her destination of Atami and the segment ended with Maimi spotting some mysterious steam rising in the distance.

This episode of “HaroPuro! TIME” also featured a second “Yajima TIME” segment, which briefly showed the filming of the “Yajima Maimi Short Movie “Totsuzen” Dance Ver.” variation of the “Kimi wa Jitensha” music video, which can now be seen on YouTube here. The episode ended with another preview of the following week’s bicycle trip segment, which showed a seemingly defeated Maimi stopped at the side of the road.
