Last week’s episode of “Hagiwara Mai desu ga… Nani ka??”, where Mai and Maimi set out to witness the annular solar eclipse and which originally aired on 5/24, has been uploaded to the UpFront DC YouTube channel. Maimi appears right from the start greeting “everyone around the world”, and though their view is initially obstructed by clouds, the two finally catch a glimpse of the eclipse around the 29 minute mark.

I rode a bicycle a lot for the first time since February (my bicycle trip from Tokyo → Shizukoa (Kunouzan Toushougu))

It was nothing but pedalling uphill,
so my sweat was pouring during this too

It’s a simulation,
so while watching the monitor you pedal the bicycle with the same resistance as the actual slope

My legs are sore(((^^;)

But I made it my goal,
so I’ll continue to do my best so I can reach it

When it gets closer to the on-air date, I’ll announce it again

Yesterday, I met someone nostalgic near my house

A long time ago, I often went with my mom to watch my brother’s baseball practices at a nearby school

Yesterday we had a dance lesson and a costume fitting for the Berikyuu (Berryz Koubou x ℃-ute) single being released on 6/20,

The dance lesson was just ℃-ute, so we still haven’t been able to join up with Berryz Koubou,

but it’s a fun dance that reminds me of our time as Hello! Project Kids(´∀｀)ノ

Speaking of which
Completely changing the subject,

at Berryz Koubou’s Shimizu Saki-chan’s house there is a kitchen garden,

and she shared snap peas she harvested earlier

I ate the snap peas with scallop saute, and it was rea~lly delicious…

We are also growing various things at the Yajima household~

Now we’re growing mini-tomatoes, cucumbers, bitter melons, and raspberries

In addition, morning glories, moonflowers, and mimosas

My mom seems to enjoy raising mimosas,

and she told me a story of when she saw mimosas planted at a friend’s house when she was little,

and thought “It’s n~ice(・ε・｀) I wonder why they have mimosas at their house…” (lol)

Actually, I loved the mimosas planted at my elementary school’s flower bed and thought “I want this“

Do I take after my mother(lol)

I enjoyed watching the leaves close when I touched them, so I often played with the mimosas

Though, remarkably I couldn’t find them after elementary school,

and I found plants that looked like mimosas and tried tapping the leaves

There was no response at all though…

“Huh~, don’t mimosas look like this~” I thought, and my memories became fuzzy,

but the other day mimosas showed up at my house

Yesterday I had a photoshoot with Mano Erina-chan for the magazine "Hello! Channel vol.9" in Asakusa,

Actually, the two of us wore different colored yukata for yesterday’s photoshoot

Though a lot of my skin was covered because I was wearing a yukata,

they poked poked both sides of my neck and the front and back,

so my neck is swollen~

In an earlier blog I made it my goal for the summer

But “Not getting bitten by mosquitos”
is considerably difficult~

While typing this blog right now,
my neck is itchy…

It’s provoking me, “Won’t you scratch(￣ー+￣)”

The photoshoot with Mano-chan was really fun

It was a photoshoot with the recently opened Sky Tree in the background

Wearing a yukata also makes me excited

However, as expected… it rained…

It didn’t stop, so we had to change the photoshoot venue from what was planned,

and finally we had a photoshoot while carrying umbrellas…

Amazingly, it stopped raining when the photoshoot ended…(^-^;

Right When the two of us get together it can’t be helped(^-^;

The evenings this season feel nice

I started to want to go to a summer festival~

On a certain street…

At a nearby paddy field,

and to the left of us were woods,

and to the right of us were old-fashioned houses…

Light was shining through the paper sliding doors,

and I started to miss my grandmother’s house

I often walked along that road on the way home from cram school when I was little,

so it was nostalgic~

And then, Rookie-kun walked with us

During the long walk, my mom said

“Roo-chan, are you tired”
“Will someone carry him”

Me “No~, Rookie doesn’t like being held When I tried to pick him up earlier, he didn’t like reclining, so…… Huh…”

My mom picked him up,
and he wasn’t as upset as I thought

Eh~~~(´Д｀)
“He likes it if it’s Mother~(TεT)”

But, Rookie is the same as always
The reason he didn’t mind was because he was tired

When we got to a road that cars couldn’t travel on and took Rookie off his leash,

he was delighted and took off running,

so without a moment’s delay my mom said

When he heard that voice,
as if he was saying “Y~es(・ε・｀))”,

Rookie again started walking in step with us… What a clever boy

Several days ago, work finished early,

so though it was late, I went out with my dad to buy a Mother’s Day gift

The part I was worried about was what kind of clothes I should buy her

It seems that my mom recently started going for walks,

and my dad said “I asked her her size, and it seems she’s one size smaller”

Me “You’re kidding But when I bought her a present earlier I bought it in this size”

Dad “I’m saying she’s gotten thinner recently”

Me “Eh~… This Can she really wear this”

Dad “Well, if she can’t wear it, father will go for walks with her(^-^)b”

In the end, I bought clothes that were one size smaller, and gave them to my mom

“Wow” my mom said, and tried it on immediately

“Look It’s perfect”

Afterwards, we ate dinner, and then I took a bath

When I got out, there was no one in the house…

I thought,

Well, Cologne usually sleeps by my mom’s side, but she finally came to me… So I let her be

But when I woke up, Cologne was sleeping soundly in my arms~

She’s too cute

And then, when I went into the living room and turned on the TV,

the image of Yaguchi Mari-san wearing a really, really wonderful wedding dress appeared before my eyes

It seems the wedding ceremony and reception were held yesterday

Yaguchi-san looked really happy…, and she was sparkling

It’s amazing that the grand opening of the Tokyo Sky Tree and Chinami’s 20th birthday are on the same day

Today I met Chinami

I finished work at night,
and Chinami’s work started at night,

so between my job ending
and her job starting,

we went to a fruit parlor

Though it was only for a short time, I wanted to meet and congratulate her, so I suddenly invited her out a few days earlier~(>ｖ<)

So, just before the date changed yesterday, I talked to Chinami on the phone
I listened to the last of 19-year-old Chinami’s voice

And then, I talked a lot to the Chinami who turned 20 today too

Chinami just returned from a fan club bus tour,

and she was really delighted that all of the fans celebrated for her(*^^*)

“Look look The venue became orange” she said,

and showed me a picture of the venue filled completely with her image color,

and “Look, I received this many messages＼(^-^)／”,

and also showed me a picture of her holding a large message album with both hands while smiling

Chinami is happy, so Yaji is also happy

I’ve tried thinking about it,
and being deeply affected by someone’s life like this is an amazing thing

Chinami and I have been friends for 10 years already(^-^)v

I wonder why that is~
Though it’s strange, she’s a friend who really makes me feel calm

Chinami’s smile has the power to soothe people,

so there’ve been times when I was worried, and Chinami’s face came to mind,

and I thought “Ah~ I want to meet Chinami right now~(T-T)”…

Today,
when I went to leave through the ticket gate, Chinami was there waving with all her might on the other side (lol)

That way of waving,

it was how you’d wave to someone who was around 50 meters behind me (lol)

Were you able to see the annular solar eclipse

Yaji was able to see it perfectly with Hagi-chan

The clouds were thick though, so I was considerably worried…

It was amazing(´ｖ｀)

Even though it was morning, the sunlight was covered-up like during the evening,

and when I noticed it, countless people had gathered around us to see the eclipse(*^^*)

The scene of everyone stopping and looking at the sky together when it’s usually a time of commotion with people commuting to work and school,

for some reason or another, made me really happy

It was like I didn’t know what time it was…

Like time stopped…

It was a strange feeling(^^)

Nature’s power to move people is amazing, as expected…

Though the timing was more or less off depending on the location, countless people are probably look at the sky…(^-^) I thought…

I think a l~ot of people were moved by the eclipse

Yaji and Hagi are among those people

It seems like there are places that couldn’t see it because it was cloudy…

When I think that there’s people who couldn’t see it even though they wanted to, even I feel disappointed

I really wanted to see it(´д｀)

Though the scale is smaller than what I actually saw,
